In reverse maybe WB's should sue this city which most likely adopted the name from the comic book character.

Some dumb mayor trying to get a headline for his city to attract tourism & it'll probably work in the short term at least because before this did anyone know there was a city in the world called Batman? NO! The mayor of Batman is looking at the Billion dollar gross worldwide & thinks gee I got a great idea.

It won't work. No court in the world will take this seriously.
